Is science still fun? Take our poll.

I was at a faculty meeting the other day and one colleague, with a bleak look on the face, announced grimly:

“I realized that science is not fun anymore”.

Is science still fun for you?

  1. The science is fun. It is the other stuff is the drag. However, sometimes when you get older, you can enjoy it again. Sir Michael Stoker told me how much he enjoyed being in the lab after retiring as director of ICRF and playing around to discover “scatter factor” (hepatocyte growth factor). I have reach a similar stage and really enjoy it.
